The 2025 Toronto Homicide Victim List is available here
On Friday, December 19, 2025, at around 10:41 p.m., Toronto police responded to a report of a missing person in the area of Strachan Avenue and Wellington Street West.
Toronto police commenced an investigation and located a deceased woman inside a residence in the area of Strachan Avenue and Wellington Street West on December 20th at approximately 6:30am.
The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Himanshi Khurana. Her death has been ruled a homicide, and investigators state that the victim and the suspect were known to one another.
Investigators are searching for Abdul Ghafoori, 32, of Toronto. He is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for:
- First Degree Murder
