The Toronto 2024 Homicide Victim List is available here

Toronto Police Service announced that they are making the public aware of an arrest made in a Homicide investigation.

Toronto police responded to a call at a residence in the Kipling Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West area on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at approximately 2:07 p.m.

On arrival police located Antonio Alonzi, 90, of Toronto suffering from stabbing injuries. He was pronounced at the scene.

Police arrested Massimo Alonzi, 32, at the scene. He has since been charged with Second Degree Murder. Police said the victim and the accused were known to each other.
