Toronto police responded to a stabbing at an apartment building in the Lawrence Avenue East and Kingston Road area on November 7, 2024, at 6:10 a.m.
On arrival police located Jason Hines, 43, of Toronto, inside an apartment unit suffering from stabbing injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Michael Currie, 55, of Toronto, has been charged with:
- Second Degree Murder
He was scheduled to attend court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 103.
