Toronto Homicide #54 – Anthony Martin fatally shot in North York

Toronto police responded to the report of a shooting in the Shoreham Drive and Gosford Boulevard area on September 24th at approximately 8:33pm.

Police said four people entered the northwest entrance of 89 Gosford Boulevard, three of them discharged firearms at  six men who had been socializing in the common area, playing dominoes.

Police arrived to find two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was rushed to hospital while Anthony Martin, 57 of Maple Ontario was pronounced deceased at the scene.

An abandoned 2020 Toyota Corolla was located by police on Friday, September 25th in the Jane Street and Sheppard area. Investigators strongly believe this vehicle is associated to these events.

Anyone who was in the area of these two shootings and has information and/or video that captures the movements of these four individuals and/or this vehicle is being asked to contact investigators at 416-808-7400,

Update, Toronto police announced on November 30th that a 17-year-old boy, of Toronto, has been arrested. He is charged with:

1) Second Degree Murder
2) Attempt Murder

He appeared in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Monday, November 30, 2020

Investigators have released security camera images of three males in a bid to identify them. Officers would like to speak to anyone who has any information about the males pictured.
