Toronto police responded to the report of a shooting in the Victoria Park Avenue and Sheppard Avenue East area on September 13th at approximately 11:56 p.m.
On arrival police located a male victim inside a vehicle suffering from injuries. despite life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased on scene. He has been identified as Paulin Harusha, 43.
Update: The Homicide and Missing Persons Unit has worked diligently to identify the suspect.
Meelad Tarin, 34, of Toronto, is wanted on a Canada-Wide warrant for:
- First Degree Murder
Police said the suspects fled the scene in a light coloured SUV prior to police arrival. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-7400, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
