The 2025 Ontario Homicide Victim List is available here

Waterloo Regional Police responded to a residence in the area of Cameron Street North and Weber Street East in Kitchener for a check well-being call on September 15th at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers located a 70-year-old male from Kitchener inside the residence with significant injuries. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The accused, a 29-year-old female from Kitchener, has been charged with Second Degree Murder.
