Update:

Cadoo and his alleged accomplices, his brother Elvis Cadoo and Elvis’s friend, Imron Samuel were acquitted of two counts of first-degree murder on July 24th 2024.

Karim Cadoo’s lawyer, Monte MacGregor, told the Star “It’s a demonstration that the jury system can work when they apply the law properly to the facts of the case, no matter how heinous they are,” he said.

“Nobody wants to condone a gunfight, but (Cadoo) was not guilty because this was a clear example of self-defence.”
