Toronto police responded to a stabbing of a teen, on March 25, 2023, at 8:58 p.m, at the Keele Subway Station.

Police said 16-year-old Gabriel Magalhaes, of Toronto, was in the station on the lower level sitting on a bench when he was approached and stabbed. Police said the stabbing was unprovoked. The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

On Saturday, March 25, 2023, Jordan O’Brien-Tobin, 22, of no fixed address was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder.
