Thunder Bay Police are investigating a homicide that took place on September 29th near 1010 Dawson Road.

Emergency crews responded around 5:30 p.m. after a 911 call reported an injured man. Officers from the Primary Response Unit, Emergency Task Unit, and K9 Unit arrived at the scene.

The man was taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, where he was later pronounced dead. He has been identified as 35-year-old Justin Coaster.

On Friday, October 10th, members of the BEAR unit assisted by the CORE unit located and arrested Maximus KITCHKEESIC. He has been charged with Second-degree Murder.
