Update: Victims Identified – Three dead including the suspect and two injured in a Langley shooting

Langley RCMP responded to multiple reports of shots fired at several different scenes throughout the City of Langley and one scene in the Township of Langley in the early hours of July 25th.

Police said a total of four people were shot. Two men died at separate scenes around the city, one woman is in critical condition and the other man suffered non-life threatening injuries. The identities of the victims have not been released at this time.

The suspect, 28-year old Jordan Daniel Goggin, of Surrey was engaged by police and shot where he died at the scene. Police said Goggin was known to police but had non-criminal contact. 

The Independent Investigations Office (IIO) continues to investigate the police shooting.

Update July 27th
Homicide investigators have determined that Goggin was wearing two different outfits during the time of the shooting and was driving a white Mazda 4-door sedan. 

Goggin is described as Caucasian, 6’1 and 68 kg with light brown hair and slight goatee. Goggin was wearing a black t-shirt and board shorts. Goggin later changed into brown overalls and a camouflaged short-sleeve t-shirt.

Update July 29th
IHIT has identified the victim as Paul David Wynn, 60, and Steven Furness, 43. Police said Wynn died outside the Creek Stone Place, and Furness died at the Langley Bus Loop.

The surviving victims remain in the hospital. The woman, age 26, remains in critical condition. The man with non-life threatening injuries is 26-years-old.
