Three Charged with Second-Degree Murder and Assault After Fatal Incident in Fox Lake

Fox Lake RCMP responded to reports of a disturbance in the area on September 17th at approximately 2:30am.

On arrival, officers found 52-year-old Delbert Noskiye with serious injuries. He was transported to the hospital, but despite life-saving efforts, he was later pronounced dead.

Further investigation revealed that the incident also involved a second victim, who sustained injuries but has since recovered.

As a result, three individuals have been arrested and charged in connection with the case: a 36-year-old from Garden River, Alberta; a 32-year-old from Fox Lake; and a 17-year-old youth. All three face charges of second-degree murder and assault causing bodily harm.

They were brought before a justice of the peace and have been remanded into custody. The youth is scheduled to appear in court on October 6, 2025, while the two adults are set to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in Fort Vermilion on October 14, 2025.
