The 2025 Quebec Homicide Victim List is available here

On February 14th at approximately 2:25 p.m., Quebec City emergency services responded to a 911 call reporting that a man had been shot on Boulevard des Chutes in the Beauport area.

Upon their arrival, officers began performing resuscitation efforts on the 62-year-old man. Despite their best efforts, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

As the investigation unfolded, authorities described a suspicious vehicle linked to the incident. The suspect vehicle was soon located and intercepted on Boulevard Henri-IV Sud, where three individuals were taken into custody without incident. Two of the accused have been identified as Nathan Tshimanga, 18, and Mathieu Quinio, 31.
