Police in Vancouver responded to a stabbing on July 13th near Carrall and Water Streets. The call came in around 4:30 a.m., and first responders attempted life-saving measures at the scene. Despite their efforts, the woman later passed away in hospital.

She has been identified as 40-year-old Ivy Michelle Bell from Surrey.

A 31-year-old man was arrested shortly after the incident but has since been released while the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities believe the two individuals were acquainted.
