Moose Jaw police were called to the 0-100 block of Stadacona St. W on October 28th on the report of an altercation.

Police arrived to find 33-year-old Shaun Holmes suffering from stab wounds. Hw was pronounced at the scene.

Investigation lead police to the 400 block of Ominica St. E. where the 33-year-old suspect had barricaded himself inside. Vincent William Picken, was arrested at approximately 3:00am and charged with second-degree murder.
