Saskatoon, Saskatchewan 2026 Homicide Victim List

Saskatoon Police Service, officers were called to the 900 block of 22nd Street West at around 12:30 a.m. on March 14, 2026 following reports of gunfire.

When officers arrived, they found 49-year-old Darcy Pechawis suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries.

The case has since been turned over to the Major Crime Section, which is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
