British Columbia 2026 Homicide Victim List
According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, officers were called to the Charlie Lake boat ramp on March 13th in the evening after receiving reports of a confrontation involving several individuals.
When officers arrived, they learned that one person had suffered serious injuries during the altercation. The injured individual had already been taken to hospital by friends but later died from those injuries. Police have identified the victim as Gurkirat Manocha, 25.

Investigators with the North District Major Crime Unit have since taken over the case and believe the incident appears to be isolated.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information to contact Fort St. John RCMP.
