Roy Douglas Snyder charged with first degree murder in relation to a fatal stabbing at the Integrated Care Hub in Kingston

Kinston police responded to the report of a stabbing at the Integrated Care Hub, (a drop-in centre where individuals can access food, harm reduction supplies, support, and community) at approximately 2:00am on January 10th.

A 51-year-old man was located suffering from stabbing injuries by Frontenac Paramedics. They treated the victim and rushed him to hospital, where he died of his injuries. The victin has been identified as David Jaeger Hodgson.

According to reports, the suspect fled the scene and hid in a wooded area behind the Care Hud where he was located at approximately 12:20pm. Roy Douglas Snyder, 48, of Kingston with first-degree murder and possession of a weapon in committing an offence.
