Regina, Saskatchewan 2026 Homicide Victim List

Regina police responded to a call about an injured man in the 3100 block of 5th Avenue at around 1:15 a.m on April 13th. When officers arrived, they found an adult male suffering from serious injuries. They began life-saving efforts, which continued until EMS arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The area was secured, and the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, Forensic Identification Unit, and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service were brought in to assist with the investigation.

Authorities have since confirmed the death is being treated as a homicide. The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Myles Anderson of Regina.

Update: On Friday, April 24, 2026, police carried out a search warrant at a home in the 1600 block of Toronto Street, where they found and arrested 29-year-old Blayne Okemaysim.

Okemaysim has been charged with second-degree murder and is scheduled to make his first court appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.
