Regina homicide #5 – David Justin Lloyd Anderson, dies of injuries in hospital

Regina police responded to the 1400 block of 6th Avenue at approximately 5:07 p.m. on March 5, 2020 for a report of an injured male.

Police and paramedics arrived to find David Justin Lloyd Anderson, 36, injured. Anderson was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police said the death of Anderson is a homicide and the case is being led by Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, in conjunction with the Coroner’s Service of Saskatchewan.

Update March 10th
A 21-year-old man, of Regina,  was arrested on March 7th and was charged with second-degree murder and breach of probation. Police are searching for a second suspect in the death of Anderson. Michael Dennis MORRISSETTE, 42 has been described as male, 5’ 10” tall, approximately 155 lbs., medium build, medium complexion with short brown hair and hazel eyes. MORRISSETTE has a tattoo of a scorpion on his right forearm and a band of feathers on his right upper arm and a sword with the words on his left forearm and a headdress on his left upper arm.
