The Alberta Murder Victim List 2025 is available here

Police were called shortly after noon on Wednesday, January 21st, to a home on 52 Avenue in Vermilion, where officers discovered the body of a 30-year-old man, according to a news release issued Friday.

Investigators spoke with the person who found the man and have since handed the case over to the major crimes unit.

One man was arrested at the scene but later released, and the RCMP have not provided further information about the arrest or the decision to release him.
