Gander RCMP received the report that a man in his 30’s and a woman in her 20’s were injured from gunshot wounds on April 4th just after midnight in Harris Point.

Both were taken to hospital where they died of their injuries. Police advise there is no current risk to public safety. 

Update April 20th
RCMP announced that the investigation showed that the man, was responsible for the death of the woman, and that he died as a result of self-inflicted wounds.
