Winnipeg police identify the city’s latest murder victim as Wade Darryl Donkey

 Winnipeg Police officers responded to the 100 block of Isabel Street for a report of a shooting on November 16th at approximately 1:50pm.

On arrival police and paramedics located 18-year-old Wade Darryl Donkey suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Winnipeg police Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).

Update September 24th, 2021
On September 21, 2021, the Winnipeg Police Service’s Homicide Unit arrested an 18-year-old male of Winnipeg and charged him with Second Degree Murder in relation to the homicide of Wade Donkey.
