Ottawa 2026 Homicide Victim List

The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a 37-year-old man following a stabbing in the 1200 block of Shillington Avenue on February 6th. Police say the incident happened around 12:30 a.m.

The victim has been identified as Andrew Dawson-Swan, 37. This marks Ottawa’s second homicide of 2026.

Police confirm that two suspects are in custody. Sabrina Danis-Charlebois, 32, and Cody Maltby, 30, have both been charged with second-degree murder and are scheduled to appear in court later today.
