Ottawa Police were called to the report of a stabbing incident with multiple victims at an address on the 1200 block of Anoka St on June 27th at approximately 10:30pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to witness a man stabbing a woman in the road near the house. when the man would not drop his knife three officers discharged their firearms fatally striking the suspect. The woman also sustained a gunshot wound. She was rushed to hospital where she remains

Police also located two deceased females within the vicinity.

Update: Ottawa police have identified the victims as Jasmine Ready, 15, and Anne-Marie Ready, 50. A 19-year-old woman was also seriously injured, her name has not been released.
