Norway House RCMP received a report of a stabbing at a residence in the community of Kinosao Sipi on December 2, 2023, at approximately 1:30 am.

On arrival police located a 15-year-old boy with injuries. He was transported to the local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

On December 3, 2023, Cody Jeffrey Monias, 38, and a 14-year-old male, both from the community, were charged with Second Degree Murder. They have been remanded in custody.
