North Battleford RCMP received a report of a shooting at a residence on 93rd Street on February 2, 2024 at approximately 5:56 p.m.
On arrival police located a 32-year-old injured male, who was later pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS.
Investigators have determined two males entered the house armed with weapons and an altercation took place. A weapon was fired, and the suspects then fled on foot. The North Battleford RCMP searched the area with the assistance of North Battleford Police Dog Services.
The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Jordan Wright of North Battleford. His family has been notified and victim services made available to them.
Update: As a result of the investigation, a Saskatchewan RCMP forensic artist composed sketches based on the following suspect descriptions:
- Suspect #1
- Male, believed to be in his late 20’s
- Between 5’6″ and 5’8″
- Medium build
- Fresh facial acne
- Wearing a dark sweater
- Suspect #2
- Male, believed to be in his late teens to early 20’s
- Between 5’10” and 6’0″
- Slim build with lifted shoulders
- Thick gold chain around neck
- Wearing a red sweater with Tupac graphic, Jordan brand high-tops, one earring, and red flat brim ball cap

Initial investigation has determined that this incident is not believed to be random in nature.
