Raddatz, 42, fired over 50 bullets from inside his southwest Edmonton home on June 8th, killing Const. Daniel Woodall and wounding another officer. After the shooting, flames engulfed the home, burning the house to the ground. A body believed to be that of Raddatz was found in the basement.

Officers had gone to Raddatz’s home in west Edmonton on June 8th to arrest him on an outstanding warrant for a bylaw offence.
