Montreal 2024 Homicide Victim List

Montreal police were called to a building on Sherbrooke Street East near Yves-Thériault Avenue on January 26th at 7:50 a.m.

On arrival police located the victim, Narjess Ben Yedder, unconscious. Despite life-saving efforts from first responders Ben Yedder was pronounced at the scene.

Const. Sabrina Gauthier, a spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal said the victim had been fatally injured with a sharp object.

Mustapha Khalil Mechken the victim’s husband was arrested and charged with second degree murder.
