Emergency crews were called to a building on St-Louis St. near Sixth Ave at 4:20am, May 7th on report of a fire.

Fire fighters found a person after the fire was extinguished. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the identity of the victim and the cause of death.

Homicide crews have taken over the case.
