Montreal police responded to a shooting at the corner of rue Jean-Talon and boulevard de l’Assomption on December 27th at approximately 9:40pm.

Police located the 39-year-old victim suffering from several gunshot wounds. The victim was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Police believe the shooting was targeted.

One suspect was seen fleeing the scene, and no arrests have been made at this time.
