Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to reports of a disturbance at a home on Cookstown Road in St Johns on December 27th at approximately 6:00am.

On arrival police located a 20-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman inside the home. The man was arrested as paramedics attended to the female victim. The victim was pronounced at the scene. The victim’s identity and cause of death have not been released.
