Montreal police were called to an altercation between a number of people near the intersection of de La Gauchetière and Clark streets on November 6th at approximately 10:00pm.

Police arrived to find a 34-year-old man suffering from a stab wound. The victim was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Const. Jean-Pierre Brabant said a 31-year-old man was taken in for questioning but later released. No charges have been made and police continue to search for suspects.
