Montreal police were called to a shooting near Guy and Ste-Catherine streets on August 7th, at 3:40 a.m.

On arrival police located the 28-year-old male victim unconscious on the sidewalk with upper body injuries 28-year-old man. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

No arrests had been made, and no suspect information is available at this time.
