Peel police responded to the report of an unresponsive male at Spy Depot Security 450 Matheson Boulevard on April 27th at approximately 8:30am.

On arrival, police located 62-year-old Sean Dodds with gunshot wounds. He was declared deceased at the scene.

CP24 has exclusively confirmed that the accused is 71-year-old Howard Brodsky. A firearm was recovered at the time of his arrest. On April 28th Brodsky was formally charged with first-degree murder 

“I can tell you it is not a random shooting. This is a targeted shooting,” Const. Laurie McCann of The Peel Police. McCann told reporters that it is unclear when the shooting actually took place. She said it could have happened at any time during the overnight hours.
