Ontario Provincial Police began investigating the death of Michael Kozovski, 49, on Friday April 13th.  Kozovski was serving an indeterminate sentence since Dec. 13, 2017, for sexual assault and for uttering threats.

As a result of the investigation, Tyler Hunter, 25, who is also an inmate is facing a first-degree murder charge in relation to the death of Kozovski.
