Two people are dead after police were called to a shooting in Burnaby on September 18th.

Matthew Miles 47, had already been shot inside the home. Police attempted to negotiate with the suspect who was still in the home but failed. Police entered the home due to the possibility other people may be at risk.

Shots were fired by police and the suspect Kenneth Robert Hanna, 48 was pronounced dead.
