Kimberly Ann O’Dea facing second degree murder charge in running down and killing her former partner

Sydney Mines police said the incident occurred at 7 a.m. July 14 on Oxford Avenue when a vehicle driven by Kimberly O’Dea 37 struck 28 year old Dana Marie Jessome.

Jessome was airlifted to a Halifax hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

O’Dea was arrested by police, without incident, shortly after the accident and is facing a second degree murder charge in the death of her former partner.
