Winnipeg Police Service responded to a report of an assault in the 100 block of Marlow Court on May 28th at around 10:00pm.

On arrival police located 31-year-old Tessa Perry suffering from upper-body injuries. Officers administered emergency first aid to the victim before paramedics arrived. Perry was rushed to hospital where she died of her injuries.

Police arrested Justin Robinson, 29, and charged him with:

– Second Degree Murder
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order
