Island Lake RCMP responded to report of a 35 year old woman being taken to St. Theresa Point Nursing Station on January 28th at approximately 12:15am. She was pronounced deceased on arrival.

Police have not revealed the woman’s identity, but said, Jonathan Wood, 34, was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.
