The 2021 Edmonton Homicide Victim List is available here

Edmonton police responded to a trouble-not-known call at a multi-unit residence in the area of 177 Street and 81 Avenue on May 17th at approximately 9:45pm.

Police arrived to find a 56-year-old Robert Williams deceased at the scene. A man was taken into custody. Police said the victim and the suspect were known to each other.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Friday, May 21, 2021. No further information is being released at this time.

Update May 22nd.
An autopsy was completed on May 21st and revealed the cause of death to be a stab wound. Cole Anderson, 25, was taken into custody nearby shortly after the incident and has since been charged with second degree murder.
