The 2023 Hamilton Homicide Victim List is available here

Hamilton police were called to a building on Herkimer St. between Park St. South and MacNab St. South on June 26th at approximately 5:00pm.

Police tweeted at 7:26pm that the victim is an adult female. One suspect is in custody.

Update: Hamilton police said they located 62-year-old Jacquelyne (Jackie) Buckle of Hamilton absent of vital signs. The woman was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.

Her 34-year-old son, Daryl Buckle, has been arrested for first-degree murder and will be appearing in court the morning of June 27th. Police are continuing to hold the scene and are not seeking additional suspects in this investigation.
