Hamilton Homicide #12 – Police search for Jheidohn Shakeed Serieaux who is wanted for the murder of 31-year-old Christopher David Sim who was fatally stabbed a Mission Services

Hamilton Police responded to a report of a stabbing in the parking lot of Mission Services located at 325 James St. N. in Hamilton on August 8th at approximately 11:45 am.

Police and paramedics arrived to find 31-year-old Christopher David Sim, suffering from stab wounds. Police said both citizens and first responders attempted life-saving efforts to stop the bleeding to the male victim. The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries at approximately 12:20pm.

Police are searching for 23-year-old Jheidohn Shakeed Serieaux, of no fixed address who is wanted for first degree murder. Serieaux is considered armed, as a weapon has not been recovered. He has been described as approximately 5’9 and 160 pounds and was wearing a dark hoodie and black pants. Police are encouraging the public NOT to approach Serieaux, but to call 911 if his location is known. Serieaux will be charged with 1st degree murder.

Update: October 4th
Hamilton police announced that Jheidon Serieaux was arrested in Brantford Ontario on October 3rd, and is being transported back to Hamilton to face a charge of first degree murder.
