Peel police responded to a report of a man who had been stabbed in the area of Lanebrook Drive and Devondale Avenue, on August 2nd at approximately 2:20 am.
Police and paramedics arrived to find two men outside of a residence on Lanebrook Drive suffering from stab wounds. Police said the victims became involved in an altercation with unknown suspects, resulting in both victims being stabbed. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
Glensbert Oliver, 63 died from his injuries at the scene. Police have not released any other information on the other victim.
Police are looking for five male suspects described as black and in their late teens to early twenties. Anyone with information, to contact the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau by calling 905-453-2121, ext. 3205.
