The 2025 Manitoba Homicide Victim List is available here

On June 6, 2025, at approximately 12:55 a.m., Gillam RCMP responded to a report of an injured male at a residence in the community.

Upon arrival, officers and EMS located a 65-year-old man with critical injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. RCMP have confirmed the death is being investigated as a homicide.

A 22-year-old Jodi Ann Ouskan of Gillam, who was known to the victim, was arrested at the residence and charged with Second Degree Murder.

The investigation is ongoing, with assistance from RCMP Major Crime Services and Forensic Identification Services.
