The Nishnawbe Aski Police Service (NAPS), and the OPP, are investigating a death of George Thomas 45, in the First Nation community of Fort Severn on December 8th.  Thomas was found injured at his home suffering from a stab wound. Police too him to the community nursing station, where he later died, police said.

35 year old Rebecca Thomas-McKay has been charged with second degree murder. Police have said the two know each other but have not specified on their relationship.
