Kelowna RCMP responded to reports of an altercation in the 1400 block of Water Street on July 1st at approximately 10:50pm.

Police arrived to the area of the  Queensway bus loop where they found Esa Carriere 23, suffering from a serious stab wound. Carriere was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

RCMP Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey said in a release that Esa Carrier had just recently re-located to Kelowna from Mississauga Ontario.

Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey said in a press confrence that Nathan Truant, 26, and Noah Vaten, 20,each of Kelowna, along with an 18-year-old Kelowna man and an 18-year-old Kelowna woman, have now each been formally charged with manslaughter in relation to the death of Esa Carriere.
