North Division officers were called to a residence on Regional Road 13 near Concession Road 7 in Uxbridge on November 13th at approximately 12:40am where 63-year-old Roberta Dickens was found deceased.
Police said the victim was located in the basement and the circumstances of her death were deemed suspicious, pointing to evidence of head and neck trauma.
Investigators said a 32-year-old male, tenant of the deceased, was identified as the primary suspect through forensic evidence and was responsible for causing the death of Mrs. Dickens. Days before the arrest would have taken place the male suspect was found deceased in an unrelated incident in Toronto.
