Emergency services responded to the report of an injured male in the 400 block of Atlantic Avenue on August 1st at approximately 3:30am. Oh arrival paramedics located William Randle SHARPE, 41, of Winnipeg deceased.

It has been reported that several adults were socializing together at a shared residence on Atlantic Avenue throughout the evening of July 31st. Two of the residents became involved in a heated argument which escalated into a physical altercation leading to the death of Sharpe.

On August 4, 2021, Winnipeg police charged Donnie LAVALLEE, 23, of Winnipeg with Manslaughter.
