Thunder Bay Police responded to a report of a man on the ground at a North Cumberland Street address at approximately 11:00pm, on March 20th. Police said the caller claimed a baseball bat may have been used in the assault.
Police arrived at the scene to find two male victims. Claude Justin Kishiqueb,58, was unresponsive and pronounced deceased at the scene. The other victim was sent to hospital where he remains in the ICU.
Nathaniel Austin Wesley, 22, of Thunder Bay is charged with Second-Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, Breach of Recognizance and Breach of Probation.
