St. Paul RCMP received a report of a stabbing at a residence on Saddle Lake Cree Nation on June 17, 2023, at 2:52 a.m.
On arrival police located 23-year-old Saddle Lake resident, Ralph Francis Large, deceased outside of the residence.
As a result of the investigation, RCMP charged a 22-year-old individual, a resident of Saddle Lake with second-degree murder.
RCMP has confirmed that this incident is unrelated to a separate major incident that occurred in the community that same morning.
